Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?
We do not take any insurance,  but will be happy to provide you with a super bill including relevant codes to submit as an out-of-network provider. We accept credit cards and checks.
How do I get a prescription refilled?
The easiest way is to request this at your pharmacy, who will fax us a refill request. Please plan accordingly and allow a few days for this to transpire, permitted refills are included on the initial prescription. Follow up appointments may be necessary.
What do you charge?
The current introductory billing rate is $215 per hour. The first appointment is usually 60-90 minutes. The hourly rate is for patient time spent, not necessarily scheduled. For example if the appointment is scheduled for 60 minutes, but takes 90 minutes the charge would be for 90 minutes.  Alternatively, if an appointment is scheduled for 60 minutes, but takes 30 minutes, the charge would be for 30 minutes. Follow up appointments are often 60 minutes, but may be 30 minutes depending on the type of follow- up.
How do you communicate with patients outside of visits?
We use a patient portal for HIPAA secure messaging direct to our provider during business hours. Please allow 24 hours for the provider to return messages.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please allow 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. No shows are charged the full amount at the $215 hourly rate.
New patients please note:
We require a credit card to hold your appointment. It will not be charged unless you do not show for your appointment. We require 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Thank you.
